GOVERNMENT IDENTIFIES NEW HOME FOR CLAREVUE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL

The Government is to purchase the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses property in Seaview Farm to house as the new site for the country's mental health hospital. It is seen as a major advance for the country’s delivery of mental health. The move comes as a new mental health legislation has been tabled in Parliament, to bring treatment in Antigua and Barbuda in line with modern protocols. Shannakisha Francis reports.
