Government looking to introduce new bills come 2025
Come next year, Government will be looking to introduce a number of new pieces of legislation while resolving some outstanding ones. Some of these include legislation to address Overgrown Lots: The Health Services Amendment Bill, a Human Tissue Transplant Bill, the Storm Water Management Bill; and the Copyright Bill, among others. This is according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Works Santia Bradshaw, who was speaking during Tuesday's sitting of Parliament. Additionally, Ms. Bradshaw says there are a number of projects over the course of the next year that will allow for Barbados to see necessary growth in the economy. One of those will be another Mill and Pave Programme.
