GOVERNMENT PROVIDES SECURITY ASSURANCE FOR SIDS4 AND T20 WORLD CUP

Attorney General and Public Safety Minister, Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin is assuring of intensified security arrangements for both the SIDS4 conference and the ICC T20 World Cup. There has been concern in the wake of a warning issued by a group that supports the so-called Islamic State about a possible terror attack on the T20 World Cup. The global showpiece will be held in the West Indies and the United States June 1 to 29. Theresa Goodwin reports.
