Government to address new women’s health benefits added to PBS

The federal government will announce several new health benefits for women. The plan includes a new treatment for endometriosis as well as an additional contraceptive pill which will be added to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. IVF treatment will also be made more affordable. Health Minister Mark Butler is expected to make a formal announcement on Sunday.
