Government urged to increase funding for nutrition, food security and wash

Government has been urged to increase funding for nutrition, food security, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs to address rising malnutrition rates, which are contributing to high dropout rates among children, particularly girls, in schools. This call to action was highlighted during a validation workshop for the Malnutrition, Food Security, and WASH report held in Kampala.
