Government urged to remove VAT exemptions on helicopters importation

The organization also wants the government to remove the VAT exemption on importing helicopters and spare parts for small aircraft and introduce VAT exemptions on textbooks and medication. The organization, which will hold its annual Usawa festival from the 18th of January, has joined global calls for a wealth tax on dollar billionaires and millionaires, which it estimates could raise over 1 billion dollars a year.
