Government working to avoid future debt restructuring
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has vowed that she does not intend to have Barbados face another debt restructure. Itemising how White Oak assisted various countries, Prime Minister Mottley noted that Belize restructured its debt three times, Grenada twice, and St. Kitts and Nevis, Ukraine, Dominican Republic, Seychelles, among others, once each. The Prime Minister says the country cannot afford any more mistakes. She added that White Oak charged the Government 0.4%.
