Governments should do all they can to avoid further ‘rise’ in antisemitism

Labor MP Carina Garland says the government should do all it can to avoid a further “rise” in antisemitism across Australia. Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire which has significantly damaged a synagogue in Melbourne’s southeast. Emergency services were called to the Adass Israel Synagogue in Ripponlea on Friday morning at approximately 4:10am.
