Grandmother shot dead by IDF during raid as West Bank attacks worsen

The family of a grandmother shot dead by Israel Defence Forces say she "fell to her knees" after soldiers fired when she went to buy groceries. Israeli attacks on Gaza are having a worsening impact on the West Bank where civilians are getting caught in the crossfire causing anger and resentment. Sky News approached the IDF about Halima's death, it said: "Early on Thursday, the IDF conducted a counterterrorism activity to apprehend an individual suspected of terror activity in the area of Balata in Nablus. During the activity, the IDF soldiers engaged in exchanges of fire with terrorists who opened fire and hurled explosives toward IDF soldiers. Hits were identified. In addition, IDF soldiers encircled a structure in which terrorists barricaded themselves.
