Grey Britain: Sun-starved Britons stuck with 'anticyclonic gloom'

Some parts of Britain have recorded no sunshine at all this month, with the country stuck under a weather phenomenon known as "anticyclonic gloom". It happens when high pressure traps a layer of moisture close to the Earth's surface. That leads to relentless cloudy weather, fog and mist.
