H.E. MUSEVENI ADVISES LEADERS IN BUGISU AGAINST ANY INTRODUCTION OF SCHOOL CHARGES

President Museveni has reiterated the importance of advocating for free education in all public schools, highlighting that the continuous introduction of charges has led to many learners being pushed out of school. These learners, he noted, are later rescued by the Presidential Zonal Skilling Centres, though at a higher cost. Museveni made these remarks during a public gathering in Mbale City this Thursday, as part of his wealth creation visit to the Bugisu subregion, where he called for collective support towards free education.
