HAJAT SARAH KAKUNGULU HAS BEEN LAID TO REST: M7 PRAISES KAKUNGULU’S ROLE DURING THE BUSH WAR
President Yoweri Museveni has paid tribute to the late Hajat Sarah Kakungulu, the widow of Prince Badru Kakungulu, who has been laid to rest at her ancestral home in Namasumbi, Wakiso District. Museveni praised the role played by the late Prince Badru Kakungulu during the NRA liberation struggle of the 1980s. The condolence message was read on his behalf by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja. Hajat Sarah Kakungulu has been laid to rest at her ancestral home in Namasumbi, Wakiso District. Sarah was the wife of the late Badru Kakungulu. Kakungulu is widely known as the grandfather of the Muslim fraternity in Uganda and the father of Prince Kasim Nakibinge. Before the body was taken to Namasumbi for burial, Muslims gathered at Kibuli Mosque to pay their last tribute.
