Hamas downplays US optimism that a ceasefire deal with Israel is imminent

Hamas has downplayed optimism by the US president that a ceasefire deal with Israel is imminent. A senior member of the group's political wing, Bassem Naim, told Al Jazeera Hamas is still waiting for an official proposal.
