Thick smog has caused air quality levels in Vietnam's capital Hanoi to hit hazardous levels. On Friday, the air quality index reached a score of 305. The thick smog is mostly caused by heavy traffic, trash burning and industrial activities, which has significantly reduced early morning visibility in the capital city's streets over the past few weeks.
