Hassan Joho's appointment as CS challenged in court

A petition challenging the appointment of former Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho as cabinet secretary for mining and blue economy has been filed in court. The petition, submitted by the genesis for Human Rights Commission, accuses Joho of gross misconduct, including involvement in economic crimes, drug trafficking, and embezzlement during his tenure as governor.
