UP Hathras Stampede Live Updates: The death toll in the stampede incident at a satsang in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras rose to 121, with many admitted to hospitals. Scores of bodies were lying in a nearby hospital as wailing relatives of the victims waited outside in the drizzle to take the mortal remains back home. Out of the 121, the majority were women and also included several children. The victims were part of the crowd of 2.5 lakh that had gathered near Phulrai village in the Sikandrarau area for the satsang by religious preacher Bhole Baba. The stampede took place on Tuesday evening when the crowd tried to touch the Baba's feet as he was leaving the venue. The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered a high-level probe into the incident.
