HDB resale prices up 1.7% in Q1

HDB resale prices have risen 1.7 per cent in the first quarter, higher than any three-monthly point in 2023. HDB’s flash estimates also show that up to Mar 27, more than 6,900 units were sold, a 5.5 per cent increase in volume over the same period last year. Analysts say one possible reason is that first-time buyers are looking to this market instead of waiting for Build-to-Order launches, which have been reduced to three from four, starting this year.
