‘He’s joined the enemy’: Matt Kean will be a ‘useless weapon’ by Labor against Dutton

Sky News host Sharri Markson says former NSW treasurer Matt Kean will be a “useless weapon” if Labor tries to use him against Opposition leader Peter Dutton in the lead-up to the next federal election. Ms Markson’s remarks come after Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced Mr Kean will take over from Grant King as chair of the Climate Change Authority. “Kean stands accused of being a turncoat by the Liberals after Albanese announced he would chair the Climate Change Authority,” she said. “Kean is divisive, he’s polarising, and he’s always been highly ambitious. “Now, he’s joined the enemy; team Albo.”
