Headline inflation ‘consistent’ with RBA expectations

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says headline inflation is “consistent” with RBA expectations. The annual rate of inflation in the June quarter has risen to 3.8 per cent from 3.6 per cent. Mr Chalmers told Sky News Australia that underlying inflation “actually went down”.
