Heatwave warning

A leading meterologist is urging Barbadians to take precaution in light of the heatwave forecast for Barbados. Deputy Director of the Barbados Meteorological Services, Brian Murray says an adequate supply of water, home modifications, including the use of air condition units, are a necessity in mitigating the heatwave. He notes with the upcoming hurricane season, which is forecast to be an active one, each family should take the necessary precautions, tailoring preparations to suit, and not wait until a warning is given.
