Athiana Acres is a farm in Richmond, B.C led by managing director Simran Panatch and farm director Daniel Garfinkel. Panatch’s family named the farm after their village in the northern province of Punjab in India. Panatch describes her personal journey, tracing her family's roots in agriculture from India to Canada. Garfinkel shares his passion for sustainable farming practices and regenerative agriculture. Garfinkle points out a field of radicchio, highlighting its unique role in the farm’s production and culinary significance. With a vision to make the farm a hub for community engagement, Panatch and Garfinkle invite people to connect through workshops, yoga, and vibrant community markets featuring local vendors.
