Herbalists in Kasese - Urged to work with National Drug Authority

People who deal in herbal medicine have been advised to work hand in hand with the National drug authority to certify their products before public consumption. During a sensitization campaign of herbalists in Kasese district on good practices in harbel manufacturing and processing the Regional inspector of drugs South Western region Kenneth Kiiza said that most herbalists seen on streets advertising and selling harbel medicine without certification with the national drug authority, risk to face the law. The president of Uganda herbalists association Mr. Mukwaya Jamiru says that the sensation campaigns with herbalists and the national drug authority will iron out bad elements in public who deal in fake harbel medicine.
