Hezbollah has ‘a lot’ of opposition in Lebanon

ANU Professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Professor Amin Saikal says Hezbollah has a lot of “opposition” in Lebanon. This follows Israel’s airstrike on a central Beirut apartment complex. “Hezbollah does have a lot of opposition in Lebanon,” Mr Saikal told Sky News Australia. “It is being mainly supported by the Shia segment of the population, which is very substantial.”
