Homeowners reminded to review home insurance coverage

As the hurricane season gets underway, homeowners are again being reminded to review their home insurance coverage. Donelle Belgrave-Young is the Assistant Manager of Insurance Operations, Underwriting and Institutional Sales at Sagicor. She says not enough people are heeding the warnings to review the sum insured for their property, to ensure it is adequate. Ms. Belgrave-Young says people should review their coverage, especially after renovations or other enhancements to the property. She explains how undervaluation could affect the amount of payout received.
