Hopes of a majority government continue to decrease for the Labor Party

The Labor Party's chances of a majority government in the upcoming federal election have dropped after new polling results were revealed. Polling conducted by the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age showed support for Labor's primary vote has declined along Australia’s east coast from 33 to 29 per cent. Victoria's support for the Coalition has increased the most by five per cent, while New South Wales voters have increased support by one per cent.
