Hopes to acquire Liat 2020's 1st aircraft

Antigua and Barbuda will soon acquire Liat 2020's first aircraft. The update was provided by Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister's Office, Ambassador Lionel Hurst. The plane is one of three from the now liquidated Liat 1974 Limited Antigua's government is negotiating to purchase from the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank. The purchase is a vital step towards acquiring the necessary air operating certificate to begin its operations.
