‘Hostile to our great ally’: Australia’s stance on Middle East conflict questioned

The Australian Associate Editor Graham Lloyd says the message being sent by Australia is “hostile” towards Israel. Mr Llyod’s comments come after Foreign Minister Penny Wong was reportedly chastised by an Israeli foreign affairs minister on Australia’s stance on the Middle East tensions. “I think it’s a bad look,” Mr Lloyd told Sky News host James Macpherson. “The message that is being sent is one that we are hostile to our great ally in the region of Israel at a time where Israel is starting to call out the fair-weather friends.”
