HOUSE APPROVES VAT EXEMPTIONS FOR NATIONAL TRUST

Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has urged the Saint Lucia National Trust (SLNT) to maintain open communication with the government and other stakeholders to achieve a harmonious balance between conservation efforts and addressing the public's needs. The house of assembly on Tuesday approved VAT exemptions for the Saint Lucia National Trust in an effort to bolster its operational capabilities.
