Houthi Strike in Tel Aviv, Biden Commutes Sentences, and Honda and Nissan Merger #shorts

The Israeli military said a rocket fired from Yemen hit an area of Tel Aviv on Saturday, injuring 16 people. In a statement, Houthi leaders said they aimed a hypersonic ballistic missile at a military target inside Israel. The U.S. retaliated by striking Houthi facilities in the rebel-held capital of Sanaa. President Joe Biden announced on Monday that he is commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 inmates on federal death row, converting their punishments to life imprisonment. The Biden administration announced a moratorium on federal capital punishment in 2021. And Japanese automakers Honda and Nissan have announced plans to work toward a merger that would form the world’s third-largest automaker by sales.
