In the last decade, China and Africa have strengthened solidarity and cooperation, deepened the Africa-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and better safeguarded their common interests. It has been hailed as "a stellar example for building a community with a shared future for humanity," according to Chinese President Xi Jinping. In this edition of The Hub, Wang Guan sits down with Jainaba Sonko, news anchor at Gambia's QTV, Fortune Abang, chief correspondent at the News Agency of Nigeria, and Rawlings Otieno, journalist at Kenya's People Daily and chairman of the Political Journalists Association of Kenya, to discuss their expectations for the year's summit and how they view China's development from a journalistic perspective.
