The King's diagnosis with a form of cancer has led to extensive discussion about the disease and its wider prevalence in the UK population. Sky's Tom Cheshire says one in two Britons will develop cancer in their lifetime, and the number of people currently receiving treatment is the highest on record. Since 2010, there has been a surge in urgent cancer referrals - which puts pressure of the system, but also increases the chances of catching cases earlier and saving lives.
