Humphrey dismisses tardy welfare cheque claims

The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs is dismissing social media claims that Government was tardy in its distribution of welfare cheques. Minister Kirk Humphrey stressed that far from that December welfare cheques were sent ahead of time, late November and early December. He says this work was done in the face of staffing constraints.
