Hundreds Turn Up at Kati Kati Kampala for Bongo Star Search – Uganda Auditions

The East African talent promotion program bongo star search launched earlier this year in the 5 east African countries to promote culture and musical talents in the region; kicked off auditions in Kampala today with hundreds of contestants gathering at Kati Kati for the highly anticipated auditions. The participants from all over Uganda showcased their talents in a bid to secure a coveted spot in the Top 5 to compete for the ultimate grand prize. Because of massive numbers the auditions have been extended to tomorrow, November 24, 2024, at the same venue and this extension will give more participants the chance to shine and make their dream of stardom a reality. The Top 5 finalists will compete against other exceptional talents from across the continent at the grand finale in Dar es Salaam on February 28th, 2025.
