Hurricane Beryl strengthens into ‘potentially catastrophic’ storm

Hurricane Beryl has now been upgraded to category 5 as it gets closer to Jamaica. It's brought devastating wind and torrential rain to the south-eastern Caribbean. Unusually warm ocean temperatures caused it to intensify. Beryl is already a record-breaking storm due to its strength this early in the season. Al Jazeera’s John Holman reports.
