Hyatt Hotel developers secure major funding

The developers of the proposed Hyatt Hotel have secured 90 million US dollars in financing from the Afreximbank for the long awaited project. Executive Chairman of the Maloney Group, Mark Maloney signed off on the deal during day two of the 31st Afreximbank Annual Meetings in the Bahamas. A 10 million dollar trade finance facility to support the importation of cement was also secured for the Rock Hard Cement Group. President of Afreximbank, Professor Benedict Oramah, sees this as significant for Afro-Caribbean trade.
