Ian Plimer slams government's stance on ‘unreliable’ wind and solar over nuclear energy

Geologist Ian Plimer has slammed the governments stance regarding nuclear power. This follows Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s latest tweet on X discouraging nuclear energy. “19 of the 20 G20 countries have nuclear power,” Mr Plimer told Sky News Australia. “It’s back up for unreliable wind and solar. “The fingerprint that we have for a nuclear-powered station…is very very small."
