ICC judges, prosecution team introduced at Duterte's first hearing | ABS CBN News

The International Criminal Court held on March 14 the pre-trial hearing or initial appearance of Former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is facing crimes against humanity charges. At the hearing, the judges and prosecution team, as well as Duterte's party, introduced themselves. The Office of the Prosecutor, led by Karim Khan, was accompanied by Deputy Prosecutor Mandiaye Niang, Trial Lawyer Edward Jeremy, Trial Lawyer Robynne Croft, International Cooperation Advisor Chantal Daniels, and Case Manager Grace Goh. Duterte, who attended via video link, was represented physically by one of his legal counsels, Former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. The pre-trial chamber's presiding judge, Iulia Antoanella Motoc, also introduced Judge Reine Alapini-Gansou, the Vice President of the Court, and Judge Socorro Flores Liera.
