IGAD URGES MEMBER STATES TO HARMONIZE LIVESTOCK RESILIENCE POLICIES

The Inter-Governmental Authority on Development is urging member states to develop action plans and policies that will harmonize livestock resilience across the region. These remarks were made during a regional consultative meeting in Entebbe, which aimed to identify and prioritize key areas of intervention in food systems resilience within the livestock sector.
