Illegal schools closed in Kayunga due to standards violations

Ministry of Education officials, together with education officials in Kayunga District, have closed Buyobe Church of Uganda Primary School and the boarding section of Gospel Valley Primary School for operating illegally. The closure followed an impromptu inspection where officials found that the two schools failed to meet the standards required to operate such facilities. They discovered that Primary Seven pupils at Buyobe Primary School were sleeping on the floor.
