Assistant Immigration Minister Matt Thistlethwaite discusses the demonstrations against Israel’s retaliatory strikes in Lebanon which killed Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah. Protesters have been warned of visa cancellations if they are seen to be holding up signs of Hassan Nasrallah. “We want to make sure that the conflict that we’re seeing in the Middle East isn’t brought over here to Australia to incite hatred and division,” Mr Thistlethwaite told Sky News Australia. “There are laws in place that ensure Australians can’t incite violence in manners such as that.”
