Improvements at Westmoreland traffic lights
Just two weeks after Barbadians complained of significant delays at the traffic lights at the Westmoreland Junction, the matter has been rectified. The backlog was a hot burner topic during Government's Parish Speaks held in St. Lucy last month. Since then, the Electronic Unit of the Ministry of Transport and Works installed new sensors, called loop detectors, at the site. Electrician with MTW's Electronic Unit Glenn Clarke, explained the previous set of loop detectors were ripped off when the road was repaved.
