Improving schools’ inspection - Education standards directorate trains D.E.Os and D.I.S

The ministry of education and sports has called upon district education officers and district inspectors of schools to enhance operations against teachers’ absenteeism for better results. The director in charge of education standards at the ministry, Frances Atima, says absenteeism undermines government’s program of ensuring quality education provision for all learners. Mr. Atima was engaging poorly performing local governments in inspection at St. Henry’s College Kitovu, in Masaka City.
