Improving the lives of children with special needs - Masaka school introduces technical training.

Parents of children with hearing impairments have been urged to give their children the chance to attend school, as education is the key to achieving independent living. During a recent visit to Masaka School for Children with Special Needs, Nasozi Kiyaga, Executive Director of Deaf Link Uganda, emphasized that children with hearing impairments are capable of learning and achieving success. The Masaka School of the Deaf has established a technical training institute, designed to help students with special needs acquire valuable vocational skills after completing their primary education.
