‘Incredibly smart move’: Peter Dutton’s bold stance on Australian flag praised

Sky News senior reporter Caroline Marcus has described Opposition leader Peter Dutton’s decision to hold media conferences with just the Australian flag only if he is elected at the next election as an “incredibly smart move”. Mr Dutton revealed he would not display the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander flags as they are not “our national flags”. “He’s willing to make a real distinction this time between the Liberal Party and the Coalition and Labor and give people a genuine alternative when they go to vote next year,” Ms Marcus said.
