Sheikh Shahjahan, the Trinamool Congress strongman accused of sexual violence and land grab by several women in West Bengal's Sandeshkhali, was arrested on Thursday morning after 55 days of absconding and has been sent to 10 days in police custody. The 53-year-old Trinamool leader was picked up from the Minakhan area in North 24 Parganas, where he was hiding with his associates.
