India’s Congress Party releases manifesto ahead of elections

India’s main opposition, the Congress Party, has released its election manifesto with a focus on job creation, wealth and social welfare. It has been released as the party faces various challenges ahead of upcoming elections, including defections from high-profile leaders as it gears up to challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government in the national polls.
