India is set to finalise the procurement of 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets and three additional Scorpene submarines for the Indian Navy by January 2025. Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, confirmed the advanced stage of the Rafale M acquisition process. The deal is expected to significantly enhance India's naval capabilities, both in air and subsurface operations.
