The vote-counting process for the recent Jammu & Kashmir assembly elections is underway today . According to official reports, counting will commence at 8 a.m., with election officials and party representatives expected to be present at counting centres by 5 a.m. Poll officials are slated to receive briefings and be stationed at their respective counting tables by 6 a.m. The counting will start with postal ballots, which are designated for specific groups such as persons with disabilities, security personnel, and essential service government employees.
