Indonesia improving flow of Ciliwung river as part of flood mitigation efforts

The Indonesian capital city, Jakarta, has faced annual flooding issues for many years. As part of its flood management programme, the government aims to improve the Ciliwung river flow and complete widening its banks by the end of this year. But as CNA's Saifulbahri Ismail finds out, flood mitigation efforts in Jakarta begin further upstream in the neighbouring province of Bogor tens of kilometres away.
