Judo Bank Chief Economic Adviser Warren Hogan says inflation is “clearly not falling” in Australia. Australia’s inflation rate rose from 3.6 per cent to 4 per cent in May. Markets are now predicting a 67 per cent chance of a rate hike in August. “This inflation is clearly not falling, which is what they need it to be doing,” Mr Hogan told Sky News Australia. “We’re getting some hints out of the monthly numbers that it could be rising, and that’s a disaster, of course.”
